The 16th edition of RoboCup Singapore Open will be the RoboCup Singapore National Selection to select the best teams to represent Singapore at RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) 2024 as well as RoboCup World Championship 2024. RoboCup is considered to be the pinnacle Robotics and AI competition which is strongly recognized by top academic institutions and industries worldwide.

- In line with the RoboCup Education Program, the RoboCup Singapore Open 2024 will also include the following entry leagues for beginners:
- RCAP CoSpace Autonomous Driving FirstSteps U12
- RCAP CoSpace Rescue FirstSteps U12/U19
- RCAP Rescue Line Entry U12/U19
RoboCupJunior League winners will represent Singapore at RoboCup International 2024. All winners will have an opportunity to represent Singapore at RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) events in 2024.
